Still life in 3D

Tomorrow is a big day of my miniature life. There is a very famous store in Hungary for artists, artisans and amateurs. A few weeks ago they sent me an email about a potential interview with me. Of course I said yes (YES!). This interview will be tomorrow and it will be a very important occasion for me. This would make the miniature world known in Hungary, and through my works! This is a very big honour and responsibility, too. I prepared with a special scene, my old idea, a three-dimensional still life in 1:12 scale. I think this scene would be a good work to make Hungarians interested in this hobby or art.

This miniature scene will be my first item in my new shop on Meska. Meska is the hungarian version of Etsy. Maybe it would lie untouched on the shop for mounths or never be sold, but I have to try!

Charlotte cake

This is my cake of today. I have to show you it! I made the ladyfingers yesterday then coated with fake sugar. Today I create the core of the cake and pressed the ladyfingers around it. I decorated with various berry fruits after baking. I really like it! I should make it in 1:1 for the family. I've never eaten a charlotte cake, but it looks so delicious!

Walnut and almond in 1:12

A hungarian woman ordered some walnuts and walnut kernels from me. It was a great challenge to make walnut kernels, but I was so pleased with the results I made some extra pieces  for a new cake into my Etsy shop.

It seems now I'm in a nut mood, so I made an almond cake, too.

Grapes - not the first time

After making grapes I always have to do some rest before the next time. It's so killing! But I love the results. Now I rolled so many berries my wrist is aching.

Still in the mood of autumn I made a savarin with grapes. It was in a cooking magazine

I think now a longer break follows in the making of grapes.

Milk loaf

I saw this picture in a cooking magazine and I had to make it! I baked the almonds a day before and I used glass paint for the raisins.

Sweets of Colors - New designs

Some weeks ago I posted about my pastry collection I named pompously Sweets of Colors. Now I enriched the collection with new pieces. As before the colors are the most important parts of the design.
My children are craving making these pastries in real size from me! But I'm not so skillful in baking in 1:1! Although I want to be!

Making leaves

Up to now I tried to make the leaves of my fruits and vegetables from fimo. They always looked too plastic-like, I wasn't satisfied with them.  I really hated the sepals of my tomatoes. A few days ago I made some leaves from paper, and the result surprised even me!
Now I complete a lot of fruit and vegetable baskets of mines with leaves.

I have a lot of new followers I hadn't welcome yet. I'm so happy you all like my blog and my miniatures!
