I'm back in town

First of all, Happy New Year! I know, January is almost over, but it's better late than never. So I had a very restful holiday in December and the Christmas was wonderful. I have to admit I was a little bit tired of all the miniatures I had made for the Christmas rush, and it began to affect my mood. My husband said it was time to cut all ties to the miniature world for at least two weeks to charge my batteries. First I was sceptical if I could bear it for such a long time, but it was really helpful. I played with the kids, read a lot and there were many rounds of Carcassone (strategic board game) with my husband at late night. Of course I spent the first two weeks of January only with catching up, and now at last I have time for blogging, too.
I show you some of my latest works, all types of food as always.

These are not miniatures, though they are not average sized either. My daughters are always the shortest in their class, like I was, too. (I'm still very short and I have no hope to get any taller in this life.) I made some good photos about the kids and had the best ones printed onto canvas. They were my Christmas presents for my husband. Absolute success! Now they are on our "famous" red wall of the living room.

Boldog új évet neked is Bözse!
Az ételek pont olyan gusztusosak és élethűek, mint tavaly (vagy még jobban?:)
A lányok egyre szebbek! Nagyon jól sikerültek a fotók. A falon nagyon jól mutatnak a fekete-fehér képek.
Gratula!

Счастливого Нового года! Невероятно реалистичная миниатюра! Смотрю и не верю, что это сделано из пластики!!!
Ваши дочери прекрасны! Они ваша гордость и радость!

Hi Bozse! I hear what you are saying about taking a break from miniatures, as we all need to re-charge our batteries by self-removal, every now and then. Good for you for listening to your hubby and actually doing it and enjoying your time away! :)) Your daughters are all 3, very pretty and what a great gift for the entire family. The black and white photos look wonderful against the red wall! Well done!!!!
Now as to your miniatures... What can one say, except that each photo is Spectacular in both the execution and the presentation! You have such a great gift and looking at your work is always a double-take: you have to look twice to see that it is Not Real!!! How can that be? How do you do it? I have to say that each display shows your Unbelievable skill and perception of how to showcase your art. I love the carrots. You have made them a mini masterpiece and also the cherries with the pits on the paper. But then there is the Fabulous bread, the cake and the Fish!.............Oh my
As usual, your work is SUCH A GREAT PLEASURE! Happy New Year :D
