Nothing new on my worktable this time, but this row of billotts looks so great that I had to show you. Let me introduce you my triplets! I think there is no way there would be another opportunity for these three to resting on my table at the same time.

Plum cake
Though the plums are still green in our garden, a delicious cake filled with juicy plums was on my mind all day. Fortunately the fimo plum ripes all the times, so there was nothing to stop me making this little one. Now it seems to torture me!
Diameter of the plate is 28mm.Jun 11, 2012
Billot table
Last week I got a lot of wood materials with which I can make the pieces of furniture have been planned for a long while. I collected many many inspirational photos from the net. Of course, most of them are old and shabby ones, mostly in white. This little billot was made at first with really working drawer. The table is seemengly a simple piece, but you can belive me, it's never simple at all when every tenth of millimeter matters. I gained good experiences during the making process, so I hope the next one would be easier and faster. And yes, I couldn't stop with only the billot, I had to make some vintage kitchen accessories too. And the result is another little kitchen still life.
Thanks for your former help with the mirror material. Eventually I choosed acrylic mirror sheets from ebay, and they arrived very fast. I think my next piece of furniture would be a vanity table. You can't guess in which color...

Help!
I would like to make vanities, of course with mirrors. But I haven't got the faintest idea which material I can use for mirrors. I need some foil or sheet with good quality fake mirror surface, maybe with adhesive blackside. Is there any like this and where can I get some? The real mirror is too thick and I don't know if I can cut it with my own tools. So if anybody have an idea for me, please leave me a comment, I would be really happy! I so much hate to have to stop a work not having the appropriate material! Thanks a lot!

Lemons
Last week I realized I've never made any lemons before. I gave them a try. They are a little bit darker shade of yellow than I wanted, maybe riper lemons?

And still for the publication
As I promised here are the items I also made for the publication. Sorry, the last little scene, the garden breakfast is not ready yet, but only a few things I have to do with it.

Still for the publication
I think a fruit salad served in a watermelon shell is one of the most summery food you can make in miniature. I tried to present it as a miniature scene, too, surrounded with whole and half watermelon pieces. I hope tomorrow I will manage to be ready with all the miniatures I planned for the publication. Of course, further pictures are coming...
