Croissants

This is a little shabby tray with many fresh croissants. The new experiment in this scene is the jam jar. I turned it from clear acrylic rod. Actually the one you can see is the forth try. Turning acrylic rod is very tricky since it tends to melt on turning with high speed. And you need to sand it properly to save its transparency. So the first three ones were either deformed or too matt to be a glass jar.

  8. Oh Bözse I love your work. So beautiful! Those walnuts look like I have just picked them from my tree. And the fruits...they looks perfect.

    I have missed a few post I see, all filled with wonderful miniature food. I will be starting with my kitchen soon ;-)))

  9. Wonderful work as usual! As for taking the dull from turned acrylic, I once read you just need to coat it with some gloss varnish. It's almost magical, you should give it a try.
    Having said that, I am in awe of your talent :)
